| From my house I can see the beautiful Gifu castle on the top of Mt. Kinka. The Gifu Castle is lit up until 11:00 pm, the silhouette of which emerges from the darkness at sunset, making the night scenery more fantastic. |

| They also prepared a theme song "O bama is Beautiful World." for this victory party. With Japanese sweet cakes named "Obama manjyu" and Obama Sake, they are enjoying the global moment, even if it's just a brief moment. |

My grandfather is Grecian and my grandmother is Scottish. I was born between a Grecian-American father and a Japanese mother in Japan. I think everyone is under influenced of this global economic crisis. What can we do to have affordable food? Well, I leased land from my farmer friend and have started growing my own vegetables to cope. I’m not sure what kind of and how many vegetables I will get next spring, but I’m enjoying farming! Sometimes I can ride a horse there. I hope I will be able to send pictures of my veggies next time！
